Bring an au-pair (live-in nanny) for a family in New Zealand. It really shaped my love for caring for children in all kinds of settings and showed me that I could venture outside of my small Wisconsin hometown.

Always find a way to be kind and polite to someone. It is incredibly easy to be nice to others and it takes much more effort to be rude. Why not do the easier of the two?

When it comes to sports, I prefer...
anything that has to do with my Philadelphia sports teams. Any chance I get to watch them or see them when they are in town, I never pass up that opportunity. I am also a baseball enthusiast and have visited 12 different baseball stadiums across the country.

I never get tired of watching…
The Office! I have seen every episode of the show numerous times. I was also at the wrap party in Scranton, PA when the show ended and have met numerous cast members in person over the years. Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica.
